Falling Creek Dam

  • Located in Bedford County, Virginia, Falling Creek Dam was completed in 1898
  • The earthen construction dam is 42 feet high, and 350 feet in length
  • The normal surface area is 21 acres
  • At full pond, Falling Creek Reservoir stores 85 million gallons of water
