In June, a few of us did about a two week "damn tour" to take care of some maintenance. We had no days off, but a couple of travel days allowed us enough free time to do a little exploring....

| Where to next? After a quick visit to Lake Wallenpaupack in Hawley, PA, and having stayed in our favorite accomodations there at the East Shore Lodging (www.eastshorelodging.com) -- we were on the road to a very distant Michigan....

There's not much out here, so we ate a few times at the Driftwood Bar and Grill...

Following that, it was on to the Mio Dam, in Grayling, Michigan. Here we stayed at the AuSable Valley Inn (w ww.ausablevalleyinn.com), and had enough time to do a 10 mile Canoe/Kayak trip on the AuSable river with the Hinchman Acres outfitters (www.hinchman.com)....

| Finally, a couple of us finished the last leg of the journey at Tippy Dam, in Wellston, Michigan. It was very eerie staying at the Caberfae Peaks Resort (www.caberfaepeaks.com), as this is a ski resort -- so on this particular night in the summer, there was only one other room rented out other than our two...
