Greenwood, South Carolina had some surprisingly great places to eat!! Particularly memorable was dining out on the porch at Pascal's Cafe and Grill (http://pascalscafe.com), an elegant yet casual place with superb food! A very entertaining evening and good food was had at the Nagoya Japanese Steakhouse, and another great meal was also had at Fusion Japanese and Thai Cuisine.

Probably our favorite local spot was a "private" club (you had to have your hotel key to become a member) called the Sports Break. This was the spot for pool, live music and dancing! Check out www.sportsbreak.net for upcoming performances.

Numerous hours were spent searching for quartz crystals (including smoky and amethyst) at the Diamond Mine in Antreville, SC (www.dhmine.com).

Of course, it wouldn't be an MEI job without some mountain biking thrown in for good measure!
